![]() Obviously, your first playthrough of the Dead Space Remake will most likely be a different difficulty setting than your second or third playthrough. If this is the case, you are going to want to choose your difficulty level wisely.ĭepending on what exactly you are going to try and accomplish will determine what difficulty setting you are going to want to use. You also may be looking to unlock some achievements by beating the game using only the Plasma Cutter. You might want to get your hands on New Game Plus which is only unlocked after you beat the game for the first time. You could still be on easy.In the Dead Space Remake, there is a very good chance that you are going to play through the main story more than once. I say you should keep going unless you find yourself dying repeatedly and getting frustrated.Īnd who knows? Perhaps the Save system is bugged and it doesn't properly record the difficulty level for user-saves. Console controllers just aren't as good for aiming as a mouse, and the developers have to compensate for that (stasis abilities, for example). That said, OP, if you're not finding the game exasperatingly difficult at its current setting, then is the much need to fret? I don't own the game, but I imagine that since it's a console port the game is already going to be forgiving, even on Medium. I don't find quicksaving at every corner to be entertaining or immersive, at all. I'd actually prefer to play an easy game and treat it as 'permadeath' than play on hard and be forced to reload the same level 25 times just to survive (ala Far Cry 1 where you get dropped into the jungle with next to nothing and trigens are everywhere). ![]() Personally I really don't like reloading in games. It's completely reasonable to rather play on Easy than on Hard.
